I think many people delayed moving into care facilities during covid because of the lack of amenities and risks of Covid. I would make inquiries about how many open spaces there were typically before covid.

I think this is an antiquated model for sr living.

Interesting — can you tell me what you think is the future for senior living? May need to make some decisions for my mom at some point.

Was Maplewood effected by the coronavirus?

The only complaint my mom would have is that she is very conservative and feels bullied by the liberals.

How much to the coop units go for? What are the additional monthly fees? TIA!

I would love to hear what a place like Maplewood costs. Can you please share any rough ranges? I'm probably 5 years away from looking into this service for my mother.

My 94 yr old sharp grandmother is very happy there. She had to wait a few months and moved in last yr. She has made a ton of new friends, eats dinner with someone most nights, swims, goes to a book club. I ate lunch with her one day and the restaurNt was nice.

My 80-year-old mother is considering Maplewood. She’s a very young for her age - still very athletic after a few replace joints. She visited and thought it was too “old” for her. There were also 30 open units which concerned her. Does anyone have any insights into why there might be so many open units and whether it’s well-managed?
