I want to add that in-home daycare costs almost half of what a center does. I toured a few centers and in-homes and thought in-homes are much more loving and caring for infants/young toddlers.

OP, I highly recommend Ms. Naila Naseer near the courthouse. My son is moving on to Preschool and she has a spot open from March. You can find her address and number on Arlington licensed daycare page. 571 501 1321. She's great for 0-2.5 years old who needs a loving and caring environment

We've been very happy at Bright Horizons Courthouse, though I think the waitlist is pretty long right now (we got in just as they were opening). MONA has a lot of recommendations for in-homes. I find the listserv to be extremely annoying and unsubscribed right after we found childcare, but for that purpose it's useful.

Yes, in home daycares are your friend. They will admit on a rolling basis unlike many of the big centers. Ask neighbors or friends who live near you if they know anyone.

Can you please recommend daycares in these areas? Baby is born and I haven't gotten on any waiting list (I know...) but I'm not working right now and it's probably going to take me some time to find something anyway. Thank you in advance!
