Do electronic, even if you hand out paper ones. Even if it doesn't get lost it's much more convenient for both you as the host and the invitee to keep manage the RSVPs. Oh and one tip if you haven't thought about it: remember to have an RSVP date because nothing sucks having to deal with late RSVPs one day before the party. .

If you hand out paper invites please still do an electronic evite! You can write out a tiny url so it’s something like www.bit.ly/Larla5birthday

Paper will get lost. We pulled one from the depths of his backpack months after the party.

I love paper invites, but I think either evite or paperless post are more practical.

We're preparing to do the same, but don't have parental email addresses, so paper it is. I feel like I'm back in the dark ages.

If you have everyone's email info, do the e-vite. If not, handing them out at school is fine.

Evite! It’s much easier to send reminders and more likely to be seen by parents. I’ve also seen a combination work well. A parent sent paper invitations but she also emailed the invitation which made RSVPing easier.

I prefer online because then I can reopen the invitation and double check location, etc. If you give me a piece of paper I'll take a picture of it but then I can't search my photos as easily as my emails.

I like Paperless Post but really any of them are fine.

If you are inviting the whole class at school is fine but I would still go with an Evite, it is easier for you to track RSVPs

Getting ready to send invitations for DC’s 6th birthday. We are inviting the whole class (I think it’s cruel not to at that age). What’s the best way to send invitations — online or paper? And if online which site? Thanks!
