i'll bite.
U12 boys State champion will be Alexandria 08. Hands down best team in the area I would have said maybe LMVSC 08 boys would be a close second but since then whole SYC/LMVSC thing they all dis banded? No other team in the area is close to them in soccer.
U12 girls is another easy one the champions will be Loudoun since Strikers don't play State cup but NPL State cup.

Should the only tournament that matters for Champions League? DA accounts for such a small percentage of kids it's ridiculous to blow off state cup because DA exists. Plus if you don't understand that that there are hundreds of kids that are better than DA kids but don't play DA because of money, logistics, internal politics, etc....I don't know what to tell you. AND...U12 doesn't even play 11v11 yet.
It is at best a B level tournament and with two State Cups in Va it is pretty much a C level tournament.
It simply doesn't carry the weight it once did. Still fun for the kids who are in it but ever since Boys DA and ECNL came online a decade ago State Cup has lost its luster.
Enjoy it for what it is but don't try and make more out of it than it is either.
can't say it a C level tournament at U12 my argument still stands

Anonymous wrote:Everyone agrees State cup means nothing after U12 since U13 has both DA and ECNL for boys and girls. That being said can we say the 12
who wins State cup really is the best since it hasn't hit the dilution of a "better league"
