As for classes, you will need to talk to your specific high school to see what it will accept. But a summer writing program is always a good investment even if not for credit.
MCPS requires 70 or 75. I’m not sure which, but she has 125 already. She does specialty camps, not the typically horseback rides and canoeing. They don’t have youth counselors. She’ll continue private lessons for her instrument even if she doesn’t go to camp at all.
The writing option sounds interesting. That’s the one area of instruction I found weak in MCPS. Thank you.
