Yes to salvaged title comments above but before you go that way check to see if your insurance company will insure a salvaged car. State Farm would not do it fir my mothers car

Salvage Title. Happens all the time. I owned/daily drove a Ferrari 512TR that was on a salvage title. Paid $8,000 for it, spent another $14k plus about 200 hrs putting a different motor and transmission in it to make it driveable again.

Possibly, but it will be classified as a SALVAGED vehicle so she wouldn’t qualify for full-coverage.
Also, her premiums might be higher.

It's up to insurance and state they're in. In VA, if the damage is 75% of the value of the car, you'll get a check.
If the damage is $13K and the Blue Book value is $15K, then they will cut their losses and give u the money.

Yes plus the pink slip will have it listed as salvaged. Happens all the time.

A friend’s 2003 Toyota was declared totaled. She wants to have it fixed and drive since the damage is to the body only.
