I went a few months but my ex wife was busy before during and after. Can you guess why we got divorced?

I got divorced at the end of 2013. I have had sex once since 2014.

I didn’t have any sex while we were separated for about 18 months but I was definitely ready for it. I had befriended another divorced Dad at our gym and one day a flirty conversation about our mutual lack of physical intimacy led us to the back of my SUV. I don’t know what I was thinking but it sure felt good. The relationship didn’t go anywhere and then I went another few months before I met a nice guy I dated for a year.

Four years. I was ready about a year before then but it took some time to meet and get comfortable with someone. We're still going strong nearly 6 years later.

Including toys. Never.

I’m on almost 4 years now. I haven’t even wanted to date or sleep around-too much other crap going on in life. It’s only in the last few months that I’ve thought I might like to get back out there.

I’d just had a baby so it wasn’t even on my list of things I was longing to do post-separation. Was excited to be free of my ex’s control and the emotional abuse. We had friends and family over. The house rang with laughter and music. I could chat with neighbors rather than scurrying from the car inside.

But a few months after the divorce was finalized, I began taking care of my own needs and a year after that, I casually dated and slept with a man purely for fun. He was not someone I wanted to introduce to family, let alone build a life with. But he woke me up sexually.

3 days after my wife asked for a separation. There was a woman who would flirt with me and I went for it. Men typically don't wait that long

Eh, I had some right away but I’m in a current 3 year dry spell. I try not to think about it!

It's been over two years. I'm afraid I'll never have sex again.
