I had a kid who both broke and dislocated her elbow. I'd consider getting another set of x-rays.

Yeah, if it was dislocated for a while, there should be immediate relief, but it may still be sore for a while. This was the case when my 5 yo dislocated her elbow. I popped it back into place once we realized the problem, but that was probably 20 min after it happened.

My daughter used to have fear of using it for a few days after a reduction. The relief was immediate though.

No. My daughter had it at 18 months. The change in her affect was immediate. I’d call the pediatrician.

Spent Christmas at ER with child and diagnosed with nursemaid elbow. She is three. The doctor did say he was able to do the reduction but she does not seem to be immediate relief like they’ve talked about. We’re now almost 24 hours after the catch a reduction and while she is using her arm more she still is very timid and afraid and still cries if I try to really touch it and it still seems like it hurts her. We did an x-ray and they found nothing on it. Anyone have experience with nursemaid elbow that is still sore even a day or a few days after the treatment?
