DS is in cotillion. He did it in 6th grade and now 7th grade. The kids learn etiquette and take dance lessons as well.

My Mom sent all of us to ballroom dancing. The class included learning the basic dances, greeting line etiquette, and other etiquette training. Think outside the box. No ideas for you, DS is 7.

Same!! Also on the Hill. I think someone on moth mentioned this recently so I am going to search. I think I will also see if someone (young adult, “cooler” than a parent) might be able to do some little classes.

What a bunch of unhelpful, presumptive responses you've had OP.
I heard about etiquette classes offered to kids who attend Norwood - its all very hush hush and private and not advertised. If your kid or someone you know has a kid at that school (or similar I might guess) they may be best placed to tell you.

Why can't you teach your daughter manners?

Also, don't make her self-conscious about her laugh unless you never want to hear her laugh again.

Most parents think that they teach their kids etiquette when in fact they are quite poorly behaved. I applaud the OP for seeking help to make sure her/his children have manners.

Is there a reason you can not parent your child? Sally, you use this fork for the salad. Sally, it’s considered rude to put your elbows on the table. Repeat as needed

My middle school daughter is a wonderful child but I think could use a little instruction in being poised. She all elbows and legs and guffaws. Is there a series of etiquette/poise classes that are well regarded but not too stuffy? I'd love for her to gain a little grace and know which fork to use at a fancy dinner, but don't need much more than that.
