It sounded to me like PP wasn't sure she should even have her child try out depending on the practice times and locations. That's our family's challenge with considering possibilities at a couple clubs, but we are not close to Arlington.

I don't see why they would do that. Most all the teams fair well in their league games. The only real question is if the boys' side will be expanded.
The boys side likely will not be expanded until DC United moves out to Loudoun. Arlington should be able to scoop up any players who can't make it out to Loudoun.
