Just have pee before bed and use mattress protectors.

Pull-ups are huge waste of money and more to go into a landfill.

Night training isn’t a thing. It just happens naturally. If your kid’s still wetting the bed at age 6 or 7, get a potty alarm.

My 4 yr old niece just told me tonight that she doesn't want to wear a pull up at night anymore because they're itchy.

Get a mattress protector and limit drinking after dinner.

Carry her and sit her on the potty at 11pm, or as late as possible before you go to sleep. No matter what time she went to bed. Her night is too long.

At 4 she shouldn't be in pull-ups.

This is so very wrong. The presence of diapers against the skin cues the subconscious to release urine when half asleep. Your kids will be urinating in diapers for so many more years than necessary following this bad advice. And smelling like urine in first grade (no one seems to rebathe kids in drenched pull-ups in the morning).

If she usually wakes up dry it’s ok to try it as other pp’s have said. If she is wet most mornings though I would still force it. I had a late bedwetter and I really hate getting up in the night to change sheets. And yes I doubled the sheet, but still had to take the wet one off plus help change jammies.

Please don’t force your child to wear diapers at four-years-old.

Double sheet the bed - mattress cover under sheet under mattress cover under sheet - so you just have to peel off the top sheet and mattress cover in case of wetting.

I would insist on no bottoms whatsoever - no pj bottoms, no underwear - nothing against her genitals. Total commando. No clue why it works but it does work.

Stop liquids an hour before bed. Have her go 2-3 times before bed. Layer the bed with waterproof sheets and regular sheets and have a few blankets. Let the accidents happen and just pull off the top layer. No big deal.

Just put it on before you go to bed when she's asleep. Thats what we always do. And eventually one of these nights you will forget and that will be an unofficial "test" night.

DD just turned 4 and has been potty trained since she was 2. We not able to night train tho and she used them for both nap and bedtime. She recently dropped the nap pull up and only using one at night. She has now decided she does not want to use them anymore. This caused a screaming fit at bedtime but eventually convinced her to put it on. Well tonight she is screaming about it again and we still have an hour till bedtime. I’m thinking about letting her try, any tips on helping her to be successful, she really really wants to wake up dry.
