OP here. Interesting. We aren’t DC local anymore so I guess it’s different everywhere. We have to have our monies turned in a month before bulk cookie pickup. It’s interesting to see how things are different everywhere, I didn’t even realize.
That is completely bonkers to me that parents and the troop have to front the money. I wonder if your Council isn’t financially sound to handle the payment upfront. That would concern me to have that burden on the troop.
Is it bonkers that Amazon makes you pay before your items are delivered? Our council expects payment upfront, too. We are in Chicago.
