I agree with OP and this person. I left teaching for this reason. My kids are early 20s. It was different even that recently. Your kids need boundaries. Provide them.


NP. Honestly, I think kids now are different than they were, just years ago. Yes, they are badly behaved now but it can't all be bad parenting. I think it's something in the water, or the air? All these forever chemicals or a combination of factors?

Not a new thing, there have always been people who prefer not to parent their kids at all. Sorry that you are seeing so much of it, though.
