I have a 2008 with 205,000 miles in it. I bought it new and except for a couple minor things, it’s only needed regular maintenance. Just got new tires and a timing belt so it looks like I’ll have it a couple more years. I’m not crazy about the current style so I look forward to the new design.

OP here. I read that! However, I’m assuming they’ll be a lot more expensive, at least for a while, given how much they are discounting the current ones. But still good to know.

I’m on my third MDX. Got my first one in 2005, second one was a 2011 and now own a 2015. Love the large trunk and option to convert to 3rd row seating as needed. Compared to my husband’s German car, it’s very reliable.

yes, love it. two kids 10 and 6 and got it in 2015 fresh off a two-year lease with about 20k miles on it. now it has about 95k on it and we have never put a single cent into it except for routine maintenance.

I occasionally need the third row, plus I like the large cargo area when the seats are folded. We are coming from a van, so the MDX already feels very small to us.

The price difference is not that big between the two like $5000.

Both are awesome cars for the money. Especially if kept for years.

I have a 2010 and LOVE it. 140K on it with no issues whatsoever, just money spent on regular maintenance. I plan to drive until it dies then get another MDX or possibly an RDX. We have two kids around the same age as yours (12 and 10) and it's a great family vehicle. We also considered the Pilot and the Highlander but much preferred the "drive" of the MDX plus it's a little more high end.

We have a 2008 MDX it has about 150K miles on it. It has served us well we have older teens - and had the car for a long time. Just the usual maintenance. Some of the sensors are starting to go but I guess that would be expected of an old car. We used the third row when company comes and carpool - so it comes in handy.

Yes.

Had one moved to Audi Q5 moving back.

More reliable, parts if needed are less costly than Audi. Only thing I like better in the Audi are the seats.

Acura’s unless one gets a lemon can keep forever an Audi 60,000 miles and problems start showing up.

MDX is significantly better for the price.

I have a 2010 and just hit 100,000 miles. I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Love it.

Anyone else? I see them everywhere, so I am assuming people like them okay.

I have a 2015 which will be 5 years old next week with about 65,000 miles on it. Still love it. No problems other than normal maintenance (brakes, tires, oil changes etc.).

We used the 3rd row a few times in an emergency and it was fine for short trips.

Looking at options to slightly downsize from my current van and MDX is the current front runner. 2 kids, 8 and 11. Occasional local carpool but otherwise won’t use 3rd row. No out of town family to drive around.
