Without knowing more about your child, it's hard to recommend. Hardly any schools in DC offer any transportation.
Tell us what kind of school you are looking for and we can be more helpful. If you'd like to be on the blue and orange lines, perhaps consider Eliot-Hine.
DC public schools do not provide transportation; your child does receive a Smartrip card that entitles them to unlimited free rides on the Metrobus or the Metrorail.
If you do not like the school you are in-boundary for (IB for short) you can enter the lottery to see if you get a slot at another DCPS or a charter school.
