Starting weight was 137. I’d like to get down to 125, possibly more. My high school weight was 117. I have a long torso, short muscular legs and average build.

I am tracking calories on MyFitnessPal and aiming for net 1500 a day. 30 min of Cardio 2x week, 1 hr power yoga 2x week.

Will I be able to lose with this routine? What suggestions do you have for me?

Agree with others - 1500 is too high for you to lose with your height and weight.

PP here and also dont set a weight goal because you will add muscle mass and your high school weight is not achievable, probably, with more muscle mass but you may end up looking as thin at a higher scale weight. Thats also happened to me.

I would recommend not counting calories at all but just being honest with what you are eating. You probably not only became more sedentary due to going back to work, but started what seemed like innocent snacking? Thats happened to me. Just eliminate the added food first and dont start counting calories until you no longer can make sense of why you arent losing weight. You WILL lose if you cut out whatever you added. You then probably need to take out more over time or substitute. I think calorie counting is unnecessary if you are seeing results and inaccurate to boot, net notwithstanding.

I would add in strength training. Not for weight loss, just general health.

Yeah, not clear what that net is, but if it's after exercise, I agree it may be too many cals for your height and activity level.

Calories seem a little high to be fair. Power yoga what is that

What's 1500 net calories? You mean you will deduct what the machines says you burned? I would not do that.

Agree on this point, or choose to only eat your exercise calories on the weekends or special occasions.

I would just do 1500 total, not net.

Try it and see. If you need to make a change after a few weeks, then do that.
