Do you have no concept of capitalism? You’re “allowed” to earn whatever you want. Your skill set and training make you valuable. Lots of people can clean homes. It’s a low-skilled job. The market doesn’t command a high rate for it. There are a lot of people who can do it. Anyway I don’t care. If op wants to pay 25/hour who am I to say boo. $1000/mo for 2 hours/day of light housework sounds like a nice gig for someone.

$20/hr at minimum, so for 10 hours a week = $200/wk, then $180/every other week for the regular clean so $1160/month for 40hrs a month plus 2x a month regular clean.

My mom paid her cleaning lady $16/hr Canadian ($12 USD) for many years. She only worked for 6 hours or so a week. I think she may have bumped it up a little bit recently...
Her cleaning lady is a hard working 65 year old Filipina who lives in a downstairs basement suite 30 minutes away.
My mom's house is probably 4000sf and has 4 bathrooms.
My mom was NOT receptive to increasing her pay when I talked to her about it.

PP again. You also have to factor in that the housekeeper will have more frequent transportation costs to come to your house - and the scheduling change could impact her availability for other clients. All things to keep in mind if you want her to stay engaged for the long term with help.
You could also ask her what her hourly rate would be. You can let her anchor with a price instead of throwing it out there first.

Right now she comes every two weeks and charges $180 for 2000 sq. feet (2 baths).
The new schedule will be 10hrs (maybe more) a week +regular cleaning once every week or every two weeks.
