I totally would but I’m a “take a class” kind of person.

Op here. It would be about dating. I posted a while ago about helpful tips when dating in your 40s and 50s. I encounter so many guys who do not have a clue about reentering the dating scene. Honestly, i want to be helpful again. I was thinking about having an informal talk at a local coffeehouse near my kids practice gym on Saturday.

I think a relax almost speed dating where people could practice talking to each other could be fun. If you are paying attention, it's pretty easy to figure out online dating. I think the people who need that info don't know it and wouldn't sign up for this type of event.

Probably a waste of time. You could probably get better tips about the modern dating landscape by reading.

How about doing both? I'm divorced and remarried. Do everything. I was married for 20 years the first time. I was rusty when dating. I was really open to all kinds of possibilities. OP, do you!

No. I am 42. Online dating was around in my late 20s.

Sure. Why not. Worst thing might be that you won't meet anyone fun or learn anything that you didn't already know. But it's also possible that you could meet some nice people going through the same thing that you are and you'll learn a few things new, too.

If I were neely divorced, I might.

If you are neely divorced, would you attend a gathering on Saturday morning to get a few tips on dating for people over 45? It would be free, about an hour, informal, and designed to help you navigate the world of online and inperson dating?
