These are like pre tryouts. If you are Messi Jr then yea, maybe they’ll bring you up right away. But for most kids this is a chance to get your name in front of the coaches so they can watch you in the formal tryout.
Right now you’d have to be in the top 5-10 kids vs the existing team to get a call up. They won’t sub out player 15 for a kid who is just as good as player 15 at this point. But in the formal Spring tryout all (Most) spots are basically open.

Anyone has any experience with it? Do they normally have a high turn-out for this kind of event? My boy (2007) is scheduled to play in futsal tournament on that day, not sure if we should skip his futsal game for the DCU academy ID session.
If you would accept an offer from DC United then you skip futsal.
