Not PP but another BofA customer and yes. My teens accounts work exactly as you does arise. I can use my mobile app to transfer money to or from their accounts. When they use the app they have access only to their own accounts.

I got a job at 12, and then a "real" job at 14. I had a checking account then. I did not get a credit card until I was 17 and had my driver's license. It was to be used in an emergency only, and the bill went to my dad. I think I never used it, and around 21 or 22 handed it back to my dad and said I didn't need it anymore.

We are going to trial with Greenlight. So far they have been amazingly responsive.

They have accounts linked to mine under BOA, but I liked the additional features of Greenlight.

Greenlight simply for the convenience. Plus you can use with Apple Pay.

DD has used Greenlight for two or three years and it’s been wonderful. Funds are transferred instantly, card is accepted everywhere. I have no complaints. It’s made life so much easier. DD never has to be reliant on anyone else if she is somewhere without DH or me and needs more money.

NP. What do you mean? I was 13-14 in the mid-80s and my parents helped me navigate cc etc.

My youngest has a student checking account with USAA. He has a debit card attached to his account. It’s easy to transfer money into his account. And all ATM fees are reimbursed, regardless of what machine he uses. Plus, it’s USAA.

Our kids have PNC accounts with debit cards. They’re linked to my account so I can help monitor.

We have Capital One money account, for which the teens have a debit card attached. Super easy...

We have Greenlight. It’s been good for a 12 year old. Easy to use, to transfer money, to monitor. To add allowance. To save and set interest rates...
