I haven't been to Enchant but I did take our then 3-year old to Winterfest at Kings Dominion last year and it was wonderful. I have friends to did Enchant this year and said it wasn't all they had hoped. At least at Winterfest there were rides! The rollercoasters/big rides aren't open, but Snoopyland had a ton of stuff happening and rides going. We went the day after Christmas last year and my son still talks about it so we're hoping to go again this year. You can get the 5 year old a pre-k pass (bring a birth certificate and they'll get a free season pass!) and the 2 year old will be free!

We went tonight and loved it. We arrived at 4:30, per PP's advice. We checked our stroller, and went straight to the maze, there was no line at that time, but there was later in the evening.

There was something for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the maze, skating, Santa and carolers. The food was ballpark food, I would eat before you go in. There were alot of drink options, but not so much for food. All in all we really enjoyed it and thought it was worth the money.

It was absolutely terrible tonight. They sell 6000 tickets per hour. We went in the maze right at 4:30, were done finding reindeer at 5:30 and DS had to use the bathroom. Went up to use the bathroom and then it was 545 and the line to go back down wrapped around the whole upper concourse. People were waiting 90 minutes just to get in. They wouldn’t let us back in without waiting in line, so I never got to use my prepaid skating tickets. Way too many people. The maze was so crowded by 520osh that I was shuffling to get around.

It’s gorgeous, but absolutely not worth the $160 I spent on tickets and parking and skate rentals. Maybe more like $50 for a family of 3.

I thought it was worth it! Definitely do the 4:30 entry- we noticed lines getting longer as the night went on. Try to see Santa first if you can since once it hits 5:30 and then 6:30 there are new batches of people coming in. I took a 3 year old and an 18 month old and both were free so double check the ages of kids you have to pay for. It was well run but agree not much food except fries and chicken and sausage.

I went with two 7 year olds on Wed and it was a lot of fun. there were no lines for anything and we prepaid for skating. I would imagine the weekends are much busier. Something to be aware of though is they do NOT have the penguins for kids to hold on to while skating. A lot of families seemed surprised by this. It it was crowded this would have a been of nightmare of kids falling all over the ice in a crowd. Other than the maze and ice skating not much else for kids. The "market" was kind of lame, nothing unique. I also didn't see food beyond hot dogs, sausages but there are lot of places outside to eat.

I went with my three year old this past weekend. We liked it and would go again if it came next year. It's a nice special treat for the holidays (and less chaotic than zoo lights since it's paid entry)

I am looking at taking our family of 4 around Christmas and tickets are ~$120. Has anyone been? Is it worth it? I'm a little worried this is going to be a more expensive version of Glow which was a little crazy with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. We would get 4:30 tickets.
