NP. We have one built into the furnace and DH still finds it too dry to sleep (I’m fine but he’s more sensitive). So we have an additional humidifier in our bedroom for nighttime.

Get a Miro - it can be put in the dishwasher. It is designed to be easier to clean.

Plants. Water temperature and they humidify the air.

Honestly, hanging up wet clothes or bedding on a drying rack can do wonders, especially in a smaller space. It actually feels humid walking into the room.

I agree OP. It's a PITA to clean them. I also don't like cleaning the slimy water film or wondering what bacteria I'm misting into my air.

Yeah I haven’t found a solution. I hate them. My solution is to run the heat less. Bundle up and use electric blankets. I hate hot dry air

You still need to clean those too.

You change the filter every few months.

I clean it once every two weeks. It takes maybe four minutes.

I know this is weird but I just cannot clean a humidifier as much as it needs to be cleaned.
Is there any alternative?
Just a room temp bowl of water sitting there???
