Mayne's tree farm near Frederick, MD. They have nice fraser firs. I think the 7 ft ones are $75 or so.

+1 Their tree selection there is unbeatable. Easy drive, too. They also sell hot cocoa, hot pretzels, hot dogs, chips, ginger bread, and candy. We go every year!

Er... it's $110 for a tree 7 ft or under. More for taller trees. There is no way I'm going there. They're not even an organic tree farm.

I don’t need an organic tree. I’m not eating it. And believe me, the tree is worth it. It lasts longer than those idnky ones from the lots with barely any needles falling. It smells incredible too. Highly worth it. Beautiful shape.

- die hard tree farm buyer but there are no good ones to be had this year locally.

We got a great one at Snickers Gap!

We go to Feezer’s farm, which grows trees without pesticides, south of Baltimore. They opened last weekend, and since they’re a small family farm, this weekend might be the last one to get a decent tree. Very cute setting, though. The driveway is steep.

The place we usually go is closed early this year. We love the farm experience as we grew up in New England and love a real fresh cut tree. Also love the nice selection a large place had to offer. Any recs? Don’t mind driving up to 1.5hr away from Fairfax. Thanks!
