It is my business since I am legally and financially responsible for said teen. You are the one who should be minding their own business.

No teen is going to tell their parents before they have sex. Whether they are 14- or 20. What's important is keeping lines of communication open and of course sex education. No parent can control when this will happen.

The sex question is ridiculous.

I don't go by age. I go by maturity level. Some 15 yr olds are ready to date and some aren't.

This is hilarious. I believe I have posted before that I think it's best if kids "try out" dating while still living at home with rules etc. Both of my kids have had "girlfriends", gone on dates to movies and the like (even in middle school) and spent time alone with girls. One of my kids is more open about relationships, but both have given me the chance to weigh in on things - like consent, good behavior, being a good boyfriend, being respectful. Our at home policy has always been doors open and my basement has no door, so you can hang out with your friends here but no real privacy. I have a senior in high school and he is more freedom since he has a car, but he is almost 18 and I trust him. I'm certain he isn't asking my permission to hold hands, kiss or have sex.

I see many parents saying 1:1 dates not allowed, dating not allowed, texting not allowed etc.
A sheet came home in elementary asking us to discuss with our children what our set age restrictions are for different activities and I did not take it seriously then.
SO if you already discussed this in your household, and set limits, what are the age restrictions for the following: (I'm trying to be reasonable when I set these for my DD)

1. Group Dates
2. 1:1 Dates (Movies, lunches/dinners)
3. Dating in general
4. 1:1 hanging out in your house supervised
5. 1:1 hanging out in your house alone
6. Holding Hands/Touching/kissing (I know this is out of control, but if you already talked about this)
7. Scariest of all : Sex
