No. Absolutely not.

He only has the baby 3 nights a week. That leaves 4 nights per week that he can workout without leaving the baby unattended.

4 nights a week in the gym is plenty. I say this as someone who has completed 10 marathons, 4 half Ironman races, and a full Ironman.

no doubt some noisy neighbor will not agree with this. I would hire someone.

If the baby monitor reaches, yes.

This isn’t that big of a deal, but that guy has a very short window left where this is no big deal. Once baby can climb out of the crib, I wouldn’t try this any more.

This.

Seems ok to me. Only issue is maybe if a fire starts in the apartment and the parent is not there to smell it.

Nothing wrong with what this person is doing. I go to the basement to watch TV or workout when my baby is asleep, and it sounds like that's farther than he's going.

A 30 second walk? That is the walk from my apartment door to the elevator (about 7 or 8 apartments are in between).

Nope. If the gym was directly next door, sure.

I’ve worked out on my basement gym while my 9mo DD slept upstairs in a very large house. I only monitored through the camera system. As long as you can see hear and respond, I don’t see the big deal.

Me - Yes, in this case because how is this different from going into the kitchen or the living room while its sleeping in the next room over.

If it was a super-big deal, I'd make a 'gym' advertisement. Teen girl to watch TV for 40-mins in my apartment while I'm next door. Be back in under an hour and have the baby monitor so your only concern is a fire and evacuation.

Yes or No?
