- pottery shop and paint ornaments
- go get hot chocolate out
- take him to a book store to pick out a new book

I wouldn't do anything crazy because they really enjoy the little things at that age. Hot chocolate outings are a huge deal for mine, they love it so much.

Oh stop. I was a sahm when my kids were little and sometimes I needed fresh ideas. Don’t be a grump—if you don’t have an idea, why respond like this?

One year I took my then-toddler for a “hike” around Teddy Roosevelt Island the day after Thanksgiving, and it was one of our most memorable outings ever.

I go out with my 2yo alone everyday. You can’t think of a place to go for one day???!

Trains at Brookside gardens and a walk around

Go see the train at the botanic gardens. Or any of the museums- American Indian has a great kids room which is perfect for that age.

Hi! My DH will be taking DD to Frozen 2 on Friday a.m., so I have a window of time to do something fun with my 2 yo son. I'm excited for the 1:1 time, but am totally drawing a blank about something fun to do. Any ideas?
