Create a scavenger hunt where each person needs to collect a rock, stick, colored leaves, etc...
Go to a park that you usually don’t go to or have wanted to go to play.
Stay in pajamas all day.
Do some crafts.
Decorate for Christmas.
Do storytime with Thanksgiving books.

bake cookies or pies with them, do thanksgiving crafts, watch the parade, rent a fun movie.

I’ll be alone with my three children this Thanksgiving. My husband has to work. We were going to going over a friends house, but my youngest caught a stomach bug. She has turned the corner today, but in effort to not spread it, I think it best to stay at our house on Thursday. My kids are 9, 7, and 3. I don’t have any food planned. I’m thinking doing a turkey breast and letting them pick their favorite sides. What else can I do to make things a bit more fun and festive?
