These names conjure up images of late 1990s era second tier suburbs’ soccer moms trying to discern their Connor or Owen from the other 10 Connors and Owens.

I think Connor is kind of dated for a newborn. It seems to have peaked about about 5-7 years ago.

Owen Matthew sounds better than Connor Mathew. if you do Conner/Connor people will always spell it wrong or ask how its spelled. Owen is easy.

I love Connor, like Owen. But I think Owen Matthew sounds better than Connor Matthew.

If I had to choose it would be Connor but don’t like either name.

We are expecting our first child ( a boy) and love both Connor and Owen. We are struggling to decide which name to choose. Middle name will be Matthew, same as my husband's middle name. Please no other suggestions as these are our top two and not interested in a any other names.
