I've never had an issue with Uber but for something that early - I would schedule a UberX and make sure I left about a half hour earlier.

Where do you live? I live in Del Ray and have never had an issue at any hour, and I frequently am traveling at that time. If you're in a pretty urban area, this should not be an issue. If you live outside the beltway, it probably will be

Unless you can pre schedule, I wouldn't do it. The one time I tried to get an early uber, we ended up cutting it pretty close.

This is what my DC colleague did a couple weeks ago, and the Uber didn’t show up.

Prearrange for a taxi. Call the day before. Barwood is reliable.

If you can afford it (usually $25 more maybe depending) I would go with a well rated car service. Even more reliable than a taxi IMO.

Can I rely on Uber at 4 am or better off calling a taxi?
