This is OP. I spoke with my RE and she said if I’m more comfortable, we can keep the three doses/day until after the ultrasound if I prefer. That does make me feel more comfortable so I am going to do that!!

It seems too soon to taper to me too. I’m at Shady Grove and all communications goes through the nurse. I never really see the RE..... if I could ask her directly, I would.

I think that’s too soon to taper. Can you email your RE?

I was at CCRM and I tapered starting at 8 weeks before finally going off of it at 10 weeks.

From what I recall, 8 weeks is when the placenta has most definitely taken over the necessary hormone production, although they think it may actually happen a bit before that. No one really knows.

I had some spotting as I started to taper and was worried it was related, but RE said at 8 weeks, my body was definitely doing this on my own.

Not sure how I'd feel about tapering after 2nd beta...

I think I tapered that way too. Don’t worry!

Hi- after a second positive beta, my SGF nurse advises I can switch from endometrin 3x/day to 2x/day for the next however many weeks. From what I have read on other forums, it seems like people continue the same dosage up until 8-10 weeks and then do a cold stop. Has anyone else tapered their endometrin/progesterone support this way? It makes me a little nervous. Thanks!
