I do think it's the best cardio. I'm running faster than ever even though I do 80 percent of my cardio on the Peloton. But you definitely need to supplement with lifting. I've been mostly Peloton-ing and my arms and core have gotten super-weak.

I have a Peloton bike and I love it. I also have a non-Peloton treadmill, and I use the app to do their treadmill boot camps. They are amazing – it’s a 50/50 split of running on the treadmill and weight lifting. They also have great strength content as well. I typically do 2 Peloton bike classes a week, 2 boot camps, and 1 full strength day.

I do heavy lifting and limited cardio while trying to lose weight - I use the peloton 1 to 2x per week and do only HITT cardio classes- there are a lot of them.

It is the same repetitive motion, with small variations. You are better off running/sprinting intermittently and mixing that with sets of push-up, weights, lunges, etc. for a full body workout.

To be fair the peloton app offers a variety of additional classes that involve these types of activities in addition to the spinning classes they offer.

Do you still lift? Do you rally think it is the best cardio? I'm trying to lift more, so i'm not sure if the pelaton is the right machine for me. Does it have a lot of HIIT workouts? Describe why you love it.
