+4 to Udvar Hazy. Your child will love it and it is grandparent friendly. Just drop them off at the front so they don't have a long parking lot walk.

Go to Udvar Hazy by Dulles. As mentioned previously, it is stoller and wheelchair friendly.

Frying Pan Park is nice - animals are out. Can take a tractor ride. Many benches. Mother in law with Parkinson’s can do it. And she can’t do much. Kid loves it.
Air and Space is WAY too big for someone with mobility issues.
Chibis in Chantilly is great for kids and parents / grandparents can sit and watch. Same with Scramble.
Pottery place in Vienna - kid can “paint”’and everyone else can watch

Udvar Hazy.
Plenty of ramps, handicap accessible for grandparents (and nostalgia looking at some of the warcrafts). Awesome planes, simulators, storytime, etc for the kid.

I wouldn’t tackle the beltway on Wednesday or Sunday.
A nice place for little kids and older is aviation museum in college park. Easy for people with mobility issues to navigate and places for them to sit.

My parents are visiting for Thanksgiving. My father has Parkinson's and is not the best walker. Would like something indoors to take my toddler and grandparents. We just moved to McLean but don't mind driving.
