Nah! I wish
This is the situation:
I have been dating a guy for 4 months now. So far so good! Next month will be his birthday. I want to do something nice for him, but I wouldn’t like (for now) to go over the top. It’s not because he doesn’t deserve it. It’s just because of the earliness of the relationship.
I’d like to hear from other people’s experiences. If you have been in a similar situation, (early relationship- birthday) and somebody did (or you did) something simple, yet very thoughtful for you, that you still remember. Please share! I’d like to get some ideas.
I was thinking about a DC cruise dinner or staying overnight at one of those downtown (Alexandria) hotels, champagne, nice lingerie, and you know!

Cool, overdone or too much?
Op, This mi opinion:
a. If you feel like spending a million dollars on his birthday, go for it! We only have one life
b. I remember that.../My experience was.../For one of my birthdays I got…
c. You’re putting too many thoughts on it. Get him a cupcake and a birthday candle from Giant
