At the Blair open house the director of the program actually suggested you have your kid look at the sorts of questions beforehand. I don't know if that's prepping, but I was surprised to hear him say that. He said, "Don't go overboard, but you might want to have your child look at the Cogat online. Just google, Cogat, and it'll come up."
At the MS Magnet meeting, they told parents exactly which CoGat it was and told parents the same thing. Check out sample questions for it.
