I was surprised with the timing. She just explained Kyle pushing for the third. Seems too amicable for cheating if he is her office buddy today.
Just strange with timing of pregnancy and house. Hasn’t she mentioned Kyle’s mental health issues in the past? Something related to that maybe.

Yep, according to People she was the default parent: "Martino, 38, “was involved the bare minimum in helping me with the kids” for years, “even though I was working full time.”

Default parenting is real, guys, and it leads directly to divorce! That's been my experience, and whenever a mom posts on DCUM about a dad who does nothing, that is what I tell her. Therapy now, or divorce later. Even if the dad stops the behavior and engages with the family work later on, it's very hard to get over the feelings of abandonment and exploitation.

And in addition to the pregnancy, they're right smack in the middle of their huge reno of their "historic dream home" that they just bought! Complete with Eva's huge new work studio. Wtf is going to happen with that house? Will Eva stay in CT, Kyle's hometown stomping grounds? I imagine yes, because of the kids. But every time she goes back to LA, she is clearly nostalgic for it. Will Kyle get a place in NYC and she stays at the house in CT with the kids? So many questions.

The timing is just of this is just... wow.

Also adding that the initial replies to the announcement on Kyle's twitter feed included someone asking him if he's gay (nothing wrong with that, btw). That tweet has now been deleted.

And she has now posted an instastory smiling pic with Kyle (who is making a goofy face and throwing up the peace sign), calling him her "office buddy". What on earth...

I wonder if this have been a long time coming and the big renovation (the one with the breezeway that’s supposed to be a gym)is so they can co-parent while living in the same space.

Oh good, another follower! Yea, I'm not necessarily totally shocked at the fact that they are splitting, but the timing is very weird. Something huge must have happened verrry recently. I wonder what the tea is... The obvious guess would be that he cheated. But even that doesn't scream to me "immediate split" when it comes to them.

What with all of the recent postings by both of them (and the baby!), the timing is bizarre. Also the fact that Kyle pushed hard for baby #3 (according to Eva). And that convo they had last year about vasectomies... I guess Eva's worst fear may play out since he clearly did not get one: he'll remarry and start family #2.

Didn’t she have an issue with a nanny and her DH some years back?
