Much more in alignment with my long term goals that include maintaining my goal weight by developing the habit of paying attention to satiation and eating healthy 95% of the time. It doesn’t actually change that much from how I was eating on freestyle, just all rice will now be brown and I do not count potatoes. Also, the points for my homemade granola Were reduced by half.
It's only been a day, but I already feel more satisfied with adding the zero point instant oats this am. I exercise a lot so I need the carbs. The no-fat cottage cheese is a bonus.
I used more butter this am - I think fat is supposed to fill you up.
Is this diet like keto?
How do you make your granola?
4 cup rolled oats (not instant)
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Bake on a cookie sheet in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden. I use parchment paper under for easy clean up.
1/4 cup is two smart points (on the purple plan)
I think the plan encourages healthy Whole Foods. Whole grains, fruits, Vegetables and lean protein. I usually eat my granola with yogurt and fruit.
