If you're sleeping with anyone without protecting yourself you're at risk. Be it one person or one hundred people.

I'm not currently, but I have previously dated several men at a time, and have slept with some within the same 24 hour span. Never had a threesome though.

The most important part is being honest and keeping your own condoms on hand.

When I was in college sleeping with a couple of guys, not at the same time, was not out of the ordinary but this was before STD’s were a big issue. Now I wouldn’t consider it.

So lest say someone has sex 10 times a month with one person. or 5 times a month with two people.

the same risks apply. if the two other partners are also having sex, then there is an increase in the potential for an STD if one or both is having unprotected sex.

For me it’s always been confusing. But I think I never gave myself permission to be free with myself that way. I think it can be managed in a healthy way. Everyone does need to know about the openness of your relationships though. No secrets. And I realize that’s a double standard that men don’t usually follow. But I think it’s healthier mentally and physically to be honest that you’re not monogamous.

Are you young enough to get pregnant? That would be a consideration for me. If you got pregnant, it could be awkward if you didn't know whose baby it was.

I had a situation a bunch of years ago where I ended up having sex with two longtime friends-with-benefits in the same month. (I'd known one for many years, but hadn't slept with him in ages, and had dated the second one a bit more recently, but he was flaky, so I was keeping my options open.) I ended up getting accidentally pregnant the next year by someone I was dating, and was very, very glad I hadn't gotten pregnant during that crazy month, or it would have been really awkward trying to figure out whose kid it was.

If you are sleeping with multiple men concurrently, do you enjoy it? I've always been a one at a time kind of person. Life circumstances are bringing about a situation where I'm considering having multiple partners. What's your experience with this been?
