Not OP, but I'm a 40+ female, and I'm a paying member, so I see likes. I pay partly so that I can focus my search on my preferred demographic but I can still see likes from other men in case any of them seem appropriate. In some cases, I can see what a 30 year old and I have in common. And I get the not looking for a woman who wants kids thing. But I still see those guys as being swipe-happy.

The flip side is how frustrating it is to me when guys my age or older still seem to want (more kids). So maybe I should be happy to date a 30-something who doesn't.

In general, 30 something men who are not interested in children usually look for 40 something women who either already have children or are unlikely to have children. Dating sites make it easier since you list your age there. IRL, it's a little harder for men to determine which women are not interested in kids before they start dating.

It's not weird at all b/c you're a woman looking to hook up with younger guys. Now if you were a man looking to hook up with younger women, the mother hens here would be out to castrate you.

IMO, you (man or woman) date whoever you want, regardless of age, SES, etc. just as long as you are clear about what you want/don't want to avoid stringing someone along or feeding them a bunch of lies.

They probably have a cougar fantasy. Could be fun if you're up for the brief, satisfying ride. If you're looking for more, just ignore.

Same here. I assume they're swiping right on everyone. Especially the 20-somethings. I don't kid myself that I'm the slightest bit appealing to that demographic even as a hookup.

Is bumble any different than tinder? Bc I always thought of that is a hook up site.
