happened to me. Got pregnant with twins (one was a vanishing twin). Beautiful 2 year old son now. I figured sure let’s dtd anyway since it took 3 years, many IVF cycles to get pregnant with my first.

I needed Gonal-F injections to have a successful IUI.

Clomid never worked for me, even in the few cycles the follicle did grow. but fsh injections worked the first time.

Ask to be put on letrozole. Letrozole works a lot better for women with PCOS.

Yes, this happened to me a few times during timed cycles and IUI rounds (our 3rd IUI was successful). Your RE will likely have you take another round of clomid and come in for more frequent monitoring. If this cycle isn't successful ask about Letrozole, many people respond better to it than Clomid.

I just went to my doctor's office for a third ultrasound (for my first round of IUI), and they said my follicle didn't really grow from day 12 to day 15, it is only 11mm after. They asked me to go home and wait for my doctor to review my file and call me later. Has anyone encountered this before? Did you have a successful round of IUI eventually?

Background: My period has never been normal, but I was able to get pregnant with my twins (naturally) on our first try when I was 27. I am 32 now and have been trying to have another child (strongly hope it's a singleton) for 2 years now. My husband and I started fertility testing last year and everything came back normal, I had 21 follicles during the testing month, and my doctor said I probably have PCOS (which I already knew since my cycle ranges from 35-70 days my entire life), we tried naturally another few months with no luck and we started our first round of IUI this cycle. I went in for my blood drawn and ultrasound on day 2 of my period, and was prescribed to take 5 days of clomid, I went back on day 12 for my second ultrasound where they measured a follicle at 11mm, I went back again on day 15 and it has remained the same. I know just a round of IUI is nothing, but I've been dong daily ovulation test daily for the past 2 years, I am a little tired of this fertility stuff. I am very grateful for already having 2 beautiful girls and anxious of what my next step should be. I had a horrible twin pregnancy, and was looking forward to a singleton pregnancy to be different than my last. Just want to hear some feedback of people that went through the same situation as me....
