my friend's husband wouldn't get one (never the right time, it's biking season or it's this or that season). They now have an unplanned 3 month old baby #3. He's now snipped. He was grumbling about her decision to keep the baby (rather than abort) and I was like uh---this is your fault buddy.

I wouldn’t get one if I were a guy. Nor should he insist you get permanent birth control. Use condoms.

My husband's ex insisted he get one. Turns out she was cheating on him. He's not an asshole. He can use a condom and she can use protection or get her tubes tied.

I hear ya, mine wouldn't get one either.

Why don't you want another IUD? Have you had problems with it? I loved mine. Although that said, I did switch to the pill for my last few years before menopause, it helped mitigate symptoms. Kept my weight in check, no hot flashes, I didn't dry up like the Sahara..... But once I went off the pill, all of the fun started.

Then don’t get another IUD.
