Most people don’t. It’s trashy.

Often wrong but never in doubt. In fact, 60% of those entering their first marriage in the United States are already cohabiting.

Which means 40% don’t. Anyway, cohabiting couples have a higher divorce rate.

You said "most". Which the statistics show is objectively false.

Whether cohabitation leads to divorce vs actually protects against divorce is still an open debate. https://www.theatlantic.com/family/archive/2018/10/premarital-cohabitation-divorce/573817/

So you are a moron.

I'm in my 40s and didn't want to be an old maid.

The bad breath is at least partly caused by the high amount of sugar in his diet. He went without sweets and sugary drinks for about a week and I noticed that I couldn't smell his breath. As soon as he started drinking soda and eating sweets, the bad breath returned. I can't get him to eliminate the sugar from his diet.

He doesn't brush his teeth as often or as thoroughly as I do. And he definitely doesn't floss.

Can you ask him to have a dentist check his mouth - gum disease, loose fillings or crowns, tonsil stones all cause awful breathe that just brushing can’t fix.

Is he on a Keto diet? I think that makes people stink.

We did live together before marriage. The hygiene issues weren't as bad then. It was mostly his bad breath. The not bathing after workouts started happening more recently.

Feces breath could be a serious health condition vs not brushing...

If brown stamping is what I think it is, no. But feces breath and not bathing after working out are. I'm not his mother, and I don't want to continue having discussions about these issues. Nor am I interested in having an argument after bringing the issue up.

Is brown-stamping (of bed linens, upholstery, etc. ) on the agenda?

My husband has a lot of issues, but this hygiene issue is the last straw. He is in his late 40s, and should have a routine for bathing, dental care and grooming by now. I have had several discussions with him about this, but he still has not completely solved the problem. We have only been married for 2 years, and I am seriously considering ending this.
