My question is I thought maybe Mama used to mean someone who is having a baby out of wedlock but I've seen a lot of people refer to themselves as being baby mamas even if they are married. One of my (married) co-workers even for a baby mama shirt on casual Friday

I thought the purpose was to "dance the baby out" ie similar to any of the wives tales about how to induce or get labor going.
I can't see how it's gross or disgusting. I also don't think it says "Why did you need drugs and had trouble moving at the end?!" But people find a way to be offended by ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

I actually feel like it's a way to shame other women. "Look I'm super in shape and can dance my baby into the world. Why did you need drugs and had trouble moving at the end?!" (And I'm someone who has super duper easy pregnancies)

The song came out 6 years ago, so no, it's not a new fad.

Is this the cool dance that one lady did in labor? I think it's just a cute way to move things along

Is this like the new fad or what? I see so many YouTube videos of pregnant women doing the baby mama dance. What is up with this?
