Wow it would really be surprising to find out the kid on scholarship's parent(s) work(s) two menial jobs to try to survive. Maybe instead of being a jerk about it you could offer rides to help get him to practice and games.

I think they should be given different colored uniforms so that everyone will know they are on scholarship. Because when the D1 coaches come scouting your little Larlo's U8 game, you don't want them to accidently pick an immensely talented kid whose parents wanted him to have the opportunity to play the sport over your kid. We know you make 8 figures. We know you carry a LV Neverfull. We know you have the newest Land Rover. I mean, really, the kid is already a URM, he better not take your kid's spot at Harvard!
