HA varies by pattern. The baby ones are significantly softer than the older kids ones. The more design, the less comfortable. The plain stripes are the best.

Carters are really soft and cute. They sell sets that come with shorts so if he gets hot at night, that might be a good option.

The striped pjs from Levert, on Amazon. The ones with patterns are screen printed, and not as soft. Every single of pair of striped ones have been so soft and awesome.

DS is 8 and we are pushing it on getting him to participate in the xmas pajamas tradition.... We live in a warm climate and he barely wears pajamas as it is. But the xmas morning photos look a lot cuter in pajamas than his hand down his underwear.....
We usually buy the pjs at Hanna Andersson or Tea Collection, but both of them are organic cotton, and honestly feel less soft and more crunchy than some of the synthetic cheaper brands he owns. His favorite pjs are a pair from Joe Fresh (DH's parents live in Canada) - super cheap and super soft. But a lot of the super cheap brands i see in the US feel like plastic. So i'm not sure what the magic formula is!
Any recommendations for a good source for super soft, not too hot xmas pajamas?
