The clothes are for middle aged soccur moms who want things that can hide their extra 20 lbs. Mediocre quality, dated, just boring.

The stylists do not listen to basic requests- like no pastels, no more tee shirts. Then I'll get a box with pastel tees 🙄. My understanding is the stylists have limited inventory- they can't send everything you see in their app just what is in stock at the closest warehouse.
And they ignore the price ranges you pick. I've tried picking the "luxury" items and still get $50 tops.

I like rental companies- Nuuly is fun and you can buy a piece if you want it but it's a nice way to try new styles and brands.

Same. The clothes all seemed like there were from TJ Maxx. Nothing special.

I find the quality to be ok and that's it. I have pieces that I've had for years and they've held up. Over time, my complaint is they send too much of the same stuff and it's neither classic or trendy. It's kind of blah. I've realized that I have kept a lot of things more out of a why not mindset instead of "I love this!"

They did send me a cute Marine Layer top and some bootcut/flare pants last time that I really do like. And one of my all time favorite pairs of jeans came from Stitch Fix.

To OPs question - returns are easy and they will even take a return that you accidentally left in your trunk for like a month if you email them and ask for mercy.

You can check out your items but then you have extra time to send it back. They use USPS and not UPS btw. I find that their clothes brands are generally good and good quality. I haven't done it in years but when I did, I could just leave it outside for the mail person to pick up.

Stitch Fix brands are the ones you can find at Nordstrom Rack. The stylists don’t even try to meet your criteria if you are specific about certain cuts/styles.

Read reviews. Take not of how many are by bloggers who are getting the stuff for free and/or have an affiliate link for you to sign up (which gives them a payment).

It's super easy actually - they give you a bag for the stuff, it's self addressed, you can give to any postal worker, leave it at your house or at a post office. And there seems to be a few days grace period.

They don’t start harassing you to “checkout” or return until about day 6 or 7. And if you need more time you can easily request it in the app. For returns, they supply the paid postage envelope. You do have to drop it in a mailbox though.

Try it. You’ll know pretty quickly if it’s for you. I will say, give it 2-3 boxes for them to get your style right. Also do a Pinterest page for outfits you like, they will refer to it.

I'm thinking about trying out Stitch Fix, but I'm curious as to how returns work. Specifically, can you just leave the items on your front porch to be picked up or do you have to take them to a UPS store? I know that you only have three days to make a return, but I'm worried that it will be inconvenient for me to get to a post office or UPS store within a three day time frame.
