I really hated her use of the phrase "teeny tiny dancer" and her promise that she'd turn every woman into that. I'm a petite person so it's not even that it's unachievable for me, but I just hate the idea of that, and would much rather an instructor emphasize strength and fitness. Not everyone is built to have a teeny tiny dancer's body, and it's a really weird goal.

I used to do her stuff religiously, but honestly didn't see major results. I also don't love her instructor style, which doesn't include a lot of guidance on the moves. You basically have to do them over and over so you memorize what's happening, since she never tells you anything! I don't love the dancing-style aerobics, either. Learning the choreography takes my heart rate down, and the whole thing just seems pointless.

I prefer more HIIT-style stuff - loads of better workouts on youtube or popsugar.

What hype?

Any workout can help you get fit if you do it frequently and push yourself.

I follow Tracy Anderson's SM, but her kind of workout isn't my cup of tea so I wouldn't benefit from buying her program.

Are her workouts worth the hype? Do they make you fit? look fit?
