We flew in for the games because we love this team and have been following them out of state all year and were excited to be there. At the end of Sunday's game, the seats were half-empty by the 8th, and people were filing out while the Nats were batting in the bottom of the 9th. Sure, they weren't going to stage a six-run comeback, but this is a team that's fought hard all year, finally did something in the post-season and gave us all a World Series to enjoy in D.C. You can't stick around a give them hand?

Boos equal bad karma, as evidenced by the big loss.

I know it's not unique, but this was our first World Series in 86 years. And this was the last home game of the year. And all the folks who needed to go to work would have stayed til the end of it went 15 innings. I just couldn't believe there was no sort of thank you for a great season in any way at all.
