All dealers have a bumper repair guy that would charge @$200 at most for a repair like that, just ask who they use for mobile bumper repairs and call him direct

If you’re going to buy / lease another car from the same location, you should be able to use that to avoid paying for the damage.
I had a lease end inspection a few years back that flagged a bunch of minor dings and difficult to see scratches. I had a $600 quote from repair shop to fix everything. In the end I decided against it and when I returned the car they offered to cover the cost if I leased another car from them.

We are about to turn in our leased car. It has about 4 inch crack in the bumper. Our shop quoted us $870. Dealership says we should not worry about it and pay penalty fee, but they will not tell us the exact amount, of course. What do you think we should do? I generally don't trust the dealership and am afraid I will end up in much higher bill at the end.
