Tie a long piece of ribbon/twine/string around inside bathroom door knob, shut door with twine between frame & door, tie tightly to a doorknob across the hallway. Even if cat opens door knob the door will be tied shut.

Didn't read all of the replies, but can you baby gate her in a room? I know cats can climb (so can my dogs), so I have to stack gates on top of each other, covering the whole height of the doorway. Just a thought.

Install an eye hook on the outside of the door. The hole can easily be filled with putty and covered with a little paint when you are done. Cheap and effective.

I was unsuccessful in trying to get the work rescheduled to three days in a row or done Thanksgiving week.

This cat can open bedroom and bathroom doors with the type of lock we have. Management has scheduled three days of work next month. They are not consecutive or we would board. She injured her nose during short lockups in the hard carrier to go to the vet. I bought a soft sided kennel online. She shredded through the netting in four hours. What other options exist?
