Why did she drive so much and what does she like? Wine or Amazon is a nice token of appreciation of the carpool isn’t going to continue or if she is going to always drive more. I was that mom for one season and told the other parents I would need their help the next season when my other kids were busier and I had more conflicts. I drove less then. We always work it out like that and help each other depending who has conflicts.

Agree that $100 is great. We have an equal car pool but if another parent was driving more I would absolutely want to show appreciation.

Gift card to any restaurant or Starbucks or maybe a spa if she’s into that. Even Target is good.

Oil change, tire rotation, and $100 gas card.

I am that mom and would so appreciate the gesture.
Any amount of a star tucks gift card would be a treat!

This, if you know where she likes to eat. $50 is reasonable but if she is doing that much driving, $100 is more appropriate. Or a gift card to a clothing store.

This mom drove 2 times a week when everyone else did once every 2-3 weeks? Yeah, I think $25-$35 a person for an amazon gift card is nice. It’s presumably not just the driving but the waiting around. Picking everyone up and dropping them off. Being way behind for dinner, chores, etc when you do get home. And anyone in a carpool knows how great it is when you’re home, not driving, having dinner completely ready when the kid arrives, etc.

I'm that mom (though not the one OP is describing). The other 2 families have either given me wine or a $20 Starbucks gift card. I would be incredibly uncomfortable with anything more than $20

We're in a carpool with three other families for DCs sport 4 times a week and there's one mom (I think she WFH) who does like 50% of the driving (the rest of us share the other half about equally), and I was thinking of getting her something as a token of appreciation and to let her know we're not taking her for granted. This is our first year doing regular carpool so wanted to make sure this is OK and not awkward? Would a box of chocolates do? Or something more practical like gas station GC?
